You and I both know we all really want huge racks, but just speaking for myself I have to agree with everybody else on this one by saying both. I do know that if I have the choice between a doe and a small buck I will take the doe so he can go and grow with the hopes and dreams of seeing him next year. Besides if he gets to go and grow and i do get to see him the following year he has got to be bigger.
When calling coyotes, more often than not they will circle on a target they are
coming into and approach from the downwind side. Presumably they do this in
order to align what they smell, with what they are hearing.
This means that you should always have your downwind side camouflaged and have
an open shooting lane. If the area is heavily covered the coyote could come in
take a look and be gone, with you none the wiser.
