Meat grinder

Well, my cheap meat grinder has finally bit the dust. It served its purpose for a few years and now its time to get a new one. I was thinking about one of the cabelas grinders but I wasnt sure if anyone had or knew of one better. I dont want to spend an arm and a leg but do want some qaulity. I usually do about 2 deer and 1 elk a year. It wouldnt be used a bunch but I would like something strong. Anyways let me know if you have any suggestions.

The heavier duty the better. Try to find a small market or butcher shop that is closing and buy their grinder. I did that and paid $25.00 for a Toledo Grind grinder. Nothing stops that grinder! Best money I ever spent!

I bought one of the Cabelas grinders about 3 yrs ago. I usually grind 2-3 deer each season, and it has held up well.

Well, I bought one today, went with the 1/2hp commercial grade cabelas grinder. Wanted the bigger one but the wife about died when she saw how much the bigger ones where.

Meat grinder

I use a #10 cast iron grinder I got from Sausage Maker, they have great products and good deals on seasoning kits.
I have used it to grind up 36 deer in the past 4 years.
