Meat choice: surf or turf

So I know you guys take your fishing seriously up there. What meat do you cherish more elk/other game meat or salmon? I'd be taking the wapiti but all I know is that I wish we had the salmon fishing you guys have.

I always get the "you're-so-lucky-to-live-here" lecture from people that come out to visit. But I kinda feel that way about the northwest... as far as fishing goes atleast.

I would trade it fishing

I would trade it fishing wise.  The ocean fishing here is unbelievable, but I am a fresh water guy.  I would love some salmon and trout anyday......

Forget about the salmon how

Forget about the salmon how about the halibit, and crabs?  That is one problem that I have is that I like them all and really don't have a prefence of one over the other.  But then if you called me and told me that you had some king crabs for dinner and I had an elk steak thawing out I'm afraid that the elk steak would have to wait till tomorrow.
