MD turkey question -Maryland

Was wondering if anyone knew how far you had to be from someone elses' corn pile when hunting gobblers legally. I'm sure I'll be far enough that it won't help my hunting  but I don't want to get a fine for nothing. I know the dnr is pretty strict on this.

Reply from DNR

"There is no defined distanced.  If the bait is located so to constitute a lure and attraction to the turkeys and/or the bait is on the same property then a violation would occur. Each situation is different and depends on many factors.  If you know of a someone baiting, then the  best action is to call 800-628-9944 and speak to an Officer that is assigned to that area."              That answers my question
