Marlin model 60 VS Henry lever 22

Hey guys, I am 14 and I'm getting a job working at subway making about 70 dollars a paycheck so I was going to save up to buy a new .22 LR. Between the two guns which would you choose.

MARLIN MODLE: $150.00

HENRY LEVER 22: $250.00

Both will do the same thing so I went with the model 60. The price difference gives you a $100 head start on your next firearm. Thumbs up Check out the gun shops as well. There are a lot of excellent used 22s out there that will save you even more money.

I'd get the model 60 also. I'd use the extra $100 to buy ammo.

I have a Model 60 that I bought when I was a teen so I guess I'm biased.

Anyway, like the others said, the Marlin will give you $100 to buy ammo with.

Get a good cleaning kit too. Hoppes makes a nice starter kit.

Either should be fun. You might consider the Ruger 10/22 as well.
