I am going on my first Antelope hunt next fall in Wyoming. I am going on private land. Are there land ownership maps available that I can have sent to me? Or should I just stop in somewhere when I get there to pick up maps. I have tried to google it but havent had much luck.
Thanks, any help and tips on hunting antelope are greatly appreciated as I primarily have hunted white-tailed deer here at home in Manitoba, Canada.

Hate to be a jerk, but this is a perfect example of what I was talking about on another thread here not long ago. The poster joins just to asking a question to get information, once they are pointed in the right direction or get what they need they're gone with no meaningful contribution (discusson or input) to this site. I don't mind at all helping folks or seeing others help folks, that's a great thing. But gee!! Give and take, that's how this forum stays alive. Over a month goes by and the person asking the question has only two posts here, the question and the thanks. Well at least they said thanks I guess. 
I agree 100% Westernhunter! I've noticed that fewer people are responding to the questions of new members. I used to answer a lot of questions related to northwest Colorado by new posters, I don't do it anymore. Not that I don't mind helping folks, it just doesn't seem to be appreciated.
There has to be give and take on a forum, or it simply won't survive and thrive.
I'm glad to see that moderator has addressed some of these issues especially in #7 of the new rules of this forum. I just wish every new member would read that area before posting here. I really hate to even bring this issue up. It's something that I do so reluctantly. A public forum such as this should exist and does exists to offer help and meaningful information to those unfamiliar with hunting or guns and to those experienced folks who may have questions as well. Also to serve as a place of discussion for both the novice and seasoned pro or to anyone who cares to discuss the various topics available here. I don't want to detract from that attribute of this site. I just noticed lately that activity has really dropped off here on BGH from some of the older members and that's to be expected as time goes on. Lately some (not all) of the new people joining are only using this forum to take information then split and not hang around to offer any meaningful input or discussion. Heck even just to come back and let us know how the help they got worked out for them. You don't have to be an expert to engage in discussion on this forum or to bring meaningful discusion to it. I'm not saying that people have to be camped out here on this site all the time or all day long either. I know we all have lives. Contribute is all I'm saying. Glad you see it the same way cowgal.
The forums do see ups & downs of interest and traffic. I think a lot depends on the time of year.
If anyone has ideas on how to inspire more active and lively participation on the forums, I'm sure all the mods here on BGH would be all ears! Probably should start a new thread though.
