Dat was quick makwa--wife and i will be back Sept 30 -oct 6th hunting waterfowl and bear near Winnipegosis.PM me more about your guiding-might be interested for 08-ieveral friends in texas and MT who want to hunt bears--I am taking a group of friends ( TX, VT,and Pa) to Ontario again this fall for moose.Seems like when I lived in Alaska and had guides lic, everyone I EVER knew and some I didn't,were me old buddies and wanted to come visit/hunt/fish. Now I live in Wisc and take friends hunting on my place and in Ontario just for fun. It is nice being retired.

I'll PM you and send me your e-mail.......I am only on here once in a while. Sept 30-Oct 6 timing is good to hook-up. I am done guiding archery hunts and it is before muzzleloader season.

Yes it is AMAZING how many 'friends' one has when you live in a good hunting area and have quads, horses, etc. They of course are safe as they live in suburbia and know there is nothing around where they live that I am interested in. sad

I hope to do much less guiding in the future and more hunting for myself. Yes

I'd like that--I have pretty good relations with guides I've hunted with- necessary evil where required but often great folks- in 70's I didn't need a guide when I hunted near Virden/Oak lake/ Hartney-PM me and I'll keep in touch-we leave for 8 days of fishing with old friends in Juneau AK on Mon. great to go back every year and spend a week or so on water.
could not get Skyline site to come up will try again later.
