Take a large plastic jar/bottle, make many holes in bottom, fill with fryer grease and a rotten fish and hang high from tree. It smell like hell and not going away anytime soon. Any similar contraption will do also.

Some people mix scent with corn syrup or other thick liquids then smear it on trees.

i was looking at a new product called 24seven.

Their products are geared towards deer hunting, but they make an unscented version of their product. You add an oz. of your scent to these small particles. The particles absorb the scent. These particles can now be spriinkled on the ground and the scent will dissipate over the next 7 days. If it rains the particles do absorb more moisture and will continue to dissipate the remaining scent in a diluted state until the moisture is gone.

Might be some bear applications for this product.
