Remington core-locked has really proven itself to me too. If it aint broken don't fix it!
I must say though, the new Remington core-locked ultra looks pretty impresive too but I can't remember a time when the original has let me down.
There is something about the look and feel of a bolt action rifle with a walnut stock that pleases me. Call me old fashioned, but the character of the rifle I choose to own is equally as important to me as how that rifle performs.
