Those pics have been around since a couple of years, the first time I seen them the article claimed they were from Newfoundland ?? God only knows but it would be something to come around the bend and see
Rumors of Lynx and Big Cats in New England have been around for years. Not saying the pics arent real infact I would tend to buy any sightings.
I didn't believe Coyotees were on Cape Cod till I saw one 20+ years ago standing on top of a house in Orleans MA.finishing up a roof frame. If our dogs didn't start barking we would have never looked. Turns out it was one of the first sightings on Cape Cod in 60 years. They travel through salt marshs.
Awesome picture! Here in Vermont there have been confirmed sightings of Lynx in the Northeast Kingdom near the Canadian border around Derby. I've never seen one myself but I have seen a couple of bobcat. Once in a while I hear them at night. They sound like someone being horribly murdered!
One of the things I struggle with when afield is keeping my rifle clean and in good working order. Small amounts of dust and dirt collect moisture; moisture can freeze rendering your action immovable when you need it most. I have seen this happen on multiple occasions, and over time, I’ve learned the cause and how to prevent this from happening.
The first thing that you need to avoid before going afield is leaving excess oil on the gun. Oil will trap dirt and sand in all the wrong places....
