Now now. You have to know that if you stand in the middle of a brush pile soaked with gas and light a cigerate, something bad may happen! Those of us that support you, I don't think want to hear complaint's because you got opinion's you didn't care to hear but that you had to know would come. confused?

your right, your right, they got me! sad got me going good too! Its hard to see people tear this breed down when us pit/staffy lovers put so much support into the breed and have lived with wonderful dogs (best friends). Brick Wall,)

Well Ive sat back and watched this thread for a bit just to see what happened and sure enough the idiots and the ignorant came out as I figured...Ive owned a few Pits maself and Have YET for any of them to even offer a love bite on ANYONE...I dont have one at the moment because Im in a place that doesnt allow pets (temperary place) or I would....All my kids were raised with a Pit as a BEST FRIEND. They are absolutley wonderful dogs to have as long as they are treated right..You misstreat ANY animal and it will turn on you and bite you in the azz. One thing I NEVER worried about were my kids getting hurt or messed with while them boys were around (never owned a female pit) Hell They even looked at me like dinner if I spanked my kids with them there. They are one of the most protective dogs on the planet and will give thier lives for you in a flat second with no forthought whatsoever. And comments from people such as TheNail are just from sheer idiocy and ignorance. #1 if you are a good dog owner your dog wont be roaming around the neighborhood without a leash. #2 shoot my dog for no reason and you better have another round chamberd for ME but I shoot back so keep that in concideration. The mentality of people towards Pits was generated by the media and the stupid...If you think that a Pit is a naturally agressive dog you are sorely mistaken..They are actually a Very kind and loving dog that just happens to be one bad azz pup when you mess with it or its family. They are kinna like your Typical bouncers in a country bar...Teddy Bears till you screw up

Good stuff cam, glad to see some other pit lovers in here! I also live in a temporary place that doesn't allow pets over 20lbs.....my fiancee and I are looking at homes right now, can't wait to have a pit back in my life, my fiancee likes them little mini bull terriers......so I'm looking to get her one of them as a wedding gift. Thumbs up

Used to raise UKC registered pit bulls for hog hunting. Never had a problem with them. The mother was black/white with one glass (ice blue) eye and housebroke her own pups by grabbing them if they were peeing/pooping and growling then rushing them outside. Every pup was housebroken at 10 weeks of age. Had to work with them on the chewing issue. They learned not to bite me at 8 weeks of age. People were wondering why they weren't biting people when they came to buy the pups. I had to sell that mother dog to a high school senior as a graduation gift from his parents only to have her poisoned by a terrified neighbor who lived by his house...how? The neighbor fed her tainted beef by hand! How vicious is that? I would love to have another pit bull again but I live in Wichita, KS and most pit bulls here are fighting dogs. I do not want to buy from strictly dog fighting bloodlines. I prefer hog catching bloodlines because hog hunters cull HARD for dog aggressiveness. IF you know of anyone who has excellent pit bulls that are UKC registered, give me a ring. The mother dog's ancestors were stolen from the breeder by a sheriff's son who then used the dogs for fighting! The breeder that I got her from has decided to stop breeding pit bulls and she still sticks with catahoulas because they are people/dog aggressive and good at hog hunting.
