Looks like I hunted the Wrong Stand

Here's a pic of a decent buck that was passing a Stand I decided to leave alone this season. By the looks of him he's been doing a little fighting. Check out the owl just to the right on the fence post.
Was planning on leaving this stand alone again next season, We'll See!

reminds me of my luck this year....passed on some smaller deer (100-115 class) and decided to change my setup, only by about 60 yards after the previous night seeing a shooter, and wouldn't you know it he came right under my original setup from the previous night.....i hate you deer!!!!

Try Hunting a deer ,A SINGLE DEER , for 3 years and the SOB knew what you were carrying!!!!! If it was Bow season, no matter where I set up...Id see him at 60 or so yards....Muzzleloader....250....Rifle...If I had my .444, 300 yards....7mm mag or 300 win mag...I wouldnt see him...Smartest deer I ever seen! Tried it all...Scents,,,,Calls....Huntin hot does....EVERYTHING...Gave up...Sob is still alive too and I know he's goin neener! neener! neener!

Good for you Red. If you shoot that deer it will ruin you! I mean you would never be happy with a average run of the mill meat buck again. Best thing you could do to preserve your lust for the sport of hunting is to invite me out and I will get rid of that pesky temptation for you.
I would make the sacrifice for you my friend.
