what zone are you in? I have some good spots down here for bear. Hows turkey where your at? Its poor down here, everything is private.

These two are out of B2 in trinity county, i grew up in a small town called Salyer you can find it on a map, its right on hwy 299. theres some pretty good turkey hunting. ive got a few over the last few seasons,
ill take a picture of my rack collecrion over the last 4 years. ive hunted the same area with excellent results, this is all public land hunting too

Well, it shows that you and I are 197 miles apart. Not too far.

I know where the turkeys are down here, it's just that public land is a little crowded. I like to hunt midweek, to avoid a little of the rush. I'm headed out this Friday.

Always wanted to so bear. Had a buddy that shot a big one with his bow somewhere north of Bakersfield last year. Really nice bear.
