I have been a member here for slightly more than a year now. I read a lot but made very few posts during that time as I was just not that comfortable voicing my ideas or opinions. I did not participate actively during any of the contests last year and continued as things were.
After the contest ended for last year I read a post from someone as to how you would get more respones if you were more active and part of the group.
With that in mind I slowly started to answer some of the posts in January and try to make myself a little more regular and part of the group. I was surprised a few days ago to notice that another contest was started although the prizes were much smaller but still very nice.
With that in mind I thought what the heck I'll give it a shot and became much more active. I feel great about what I have shared and what I have learned and do feel like I belong.
With that said I feel that there is a little bit of animosity to those like me that have become more active. I plan to be here long after this is over.
