Looking for Jeeps

I'm looking for any old Flatfender jeeps(prefer military) whole or parts. We restore them.

I'm interested in models from 1942-1953. We usually only deal in M38 & M38A1 willys jeeps, as well as any ford jeeps from this period. Does any body have one or know of one or any parts that somebody might want to get rid of. We prefer unrestored jeeps and any condition parts.

Please reply or send me a PM if you have any info.

Thanks

I have a 52 willys military that is in need of a an overhaul, complete restoration, or possibly an off the frame job. It ran for some time when i was younger, but it has been neglected for the last few years. It currently doesnt run.I pick it up this summer from my granddads house and i am looking to start work on it in 2007. If you can help me, or help me find someone reputable in colorado, i would appreciate it.

What are you looking to do to it? Is your 52 a M38 or M38A1? The 38's have fenders that are flat and end above the front tire(hence the name flatfender) and the A1's front fenders are rounded down over the tire. Are you going back full to the point military, just make it go, or chop it up it into a rock crawler? Are you interested in selling it? As far as help goes I can point you in the right direction when I know what you need. . If you're going back military full detail or not we can help you with parts and information.

I would like to take it back to military original, and no its not for sale, sorry. The only non original part I would like on it is maybe a winch and some more comfortable padding in the seats. I guess its an A1, I will have to check to make sure. I grew up hunting out of this rig and I would like to take my sons hunting in it some day.

Well I'm glad to hear you're going back military. As for a winch some m38's came with a PTO driven winch but the originals are rare and pricey the one we have cost around $3500. You could probably find a different model that is still pto driven for less. As for the seats the ones in our 38 are okay, but hey it's a jeep. As far as any parts you need we have some things and can usually get our hands on just about whatever you need or we can point you in the right direction. We buy/sell/and trade parts so let us know if you need any. The guys on the G503 boards can certainly help you. I sent you a PM with the address.
