This may be a long shot, I had a hunt with a friend in Co next month that fell threw due to health issues. Just wondering if there was any one in Co that would want to go chase some cats with my buddy and I. I dont have any experiance with cats or the area but i will have my friends dogs and gear. I dont want to pay big bucks and go threw an outfitter, but i would be willing to offer a cat mount for cost in return. If not any info on good areas would be great, thanks

Justin, In CO. it is illegal to offer any type of compensation (cash, services or anything of monetary value) for help with a hunt unless you are an outfitter. You can't even let your buddy fill up your tank if you are taking him hunting.
Thanks fullcry, dont need to be getting anyone in trouble. well i guess that offer only stands if there is an outfitter that is slow or doesnt have many clients in january, otherwise if there is someone that would like to get together and chase some cats let me know.
I would like to do a co cat hunt. they are thriving in Colorado. When were you planning on going? I might e interested. how many dogs do you have?
