Looking for a better colorado unit

I've been hunting Colorado the last three years. Hunted unit 15 the first two years and 27 last season. What I'm hoping is that someone could point me in the direction of a unit that might be a better choice for some decent muley's with a lot of public land. We only have 1 preference point.I don't expect anyone to give out their hot spots but a little advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

What didn't you like about those units? What would you like to be different? What did you like about those units? 1 point will get you to a lot of good places, but it's still shy of the best units.

Re: Looking for a better colorado unit

We would like to get to an area that has more public land and less private. The areas that we were hunting we would all run into private land and fences eventually. We have an outfitters tent and all the nessesarry camping gear and are not afraid to hike miles into an area.We will consider a walkin only area, as a possibility.Another thing we didn't care for was all the ATV traffic. Would like to get away from them if possible. One last thing that I think every hunter wants is a reasonable deer population. The area of unit 27 we hunted last season I only saw 2 deer and hardly any sign. My partners did not fare any better. Thanks
