Looking for a bear hunt

I am really wanting to do an archery bear hunt. It really doesn't matter where but I would like it to be a semi-guided hunt since I really never have had any experiences with bears. Just looking for some suggestions out there.

Maine seems to be pretty

Maine seems to be pretty inexpensive and a lot of bears.  Even guided trips aren't that expensive.

You could come to oregon, NE

You could come to oregon, NE oregon and SW oregon has plenty of bears, no bait, only calling or spot and stalk. NE has a lot of color phase bears. non-res tag is $282 +$140 licence

Maine does have a lot of bears. The season started last week here. A lot of camps didn't do well because of the heat. We had mid 90's and they just didn't move that good.

Bear in Maine

Bear tags in Maine are over the counter, big game hunting and bear tag needed. You can buy online  www.mefishwildlife.com . Should run you around $180. Getting the tags are easy, picking the right outfitter is everything! If you choose to hunt Maine, hunt where the bears are ...Aroostook county! Check out www.oxbowlodge.com

Tasty oregon spring black bear anyone?

Due to the salomonberry and other rich food for black bear the meat is famous for tasting great!  I happen to be one of those that can find a great recipe for anything.  Black bear hunts are very available certain times of the year and are a smart tag to get during other big game hunts just in case.
