I understand your need because I went to Texas for a Weekend and all I could think of is getting away for a few hours to hunt there. Never happen though.

Here's a link where you'll find all the info you need.
Maps, permit info etc. I guess you could get a non resident license.

Deer hunting runs till Dec. 31, only with a bow.
Good luck.

Great! Thank you for the info!

Gaucho - No I don't work for the Pall Corp. I work for a small company by the name of DRI.

Hey DHNY2005, that does suck , but get yourself a bushnell with arc scout 1000 i have one and it works great at giving you the angle on your treestand and the proper yardage .......another thing is aim alittle lower next time ! when you shoot they won't jump .... they will hunch down ! I just got my first bow buck this weekend in upstate , he was about 10 yards away and had no chance , I did however miss an 8 point in the same spot 2 years ago with a 30-30 at 50 yards dead center chest running right at me. Looked for blood , and all i saw was hair and flesh. OH Yeah , and the sappling i nicked on the way to him. make sure your shooting lane is clear ..... you never know at that moment!
