Hey guys I'm thinking of trying out the area south of lone cone during the first part of archery season. Not looking got any particular spots but just general info on the area as in hunting pressure, elk numbers. I've hunted in 65 before just looking to see something different. Thanks in advance.

good, because i'll be hunting south of lone cone for second rifle season. i looked at some pplaces on the north side though. i would definately go to the north side for the early season. you might be able to find some water holes on google earth. chances are you will be hunting what little water you can find.
