Llano Texas - Zero deer in '06

If anybody else went to Llano in Central Texas last year (06), please tell me if you saw one deer. I went on a 16-man hunt. 12 in one camp & 4 in the other. We did not see one deer...That's right in Llano, Texas.

16 people and 0 deer.

Please tell me who else experienced Llano 2006.

I hunt Cherokee and Mason which is touching Llano county on 2 sides. I have hunted their all my life. I still think Mason Should be the deer capital but what ever. Llano has tons of deer. Who did you hunt with. They probably mess you over.

That's amazing! I hunt about 40 miles north west of there, and the deer are as thick as chiggers in Johnson grass, in August! . Thumbs up
