Reloading

Videos of hunts...

Man, we are going to make a hunting show about you and sell it to the networks!!

I will start doing some long range research on DIY hunts out west to determine how you gain points.

I know that for Iowa (and this would be for bowhunting whitetails) you have to apply and pay the full amount of the permit....and then if and when you are not selected, they send you back all of your money except $50 which is how yoy pay for your preference point for that year.

I am wondering now if you have to pay as you gain points in the states out west?

I will do a little research on reloading gear and may pick your brain on that also.

I really only want to load 7mm-08 so that should help keep the cost down some on shell holders and dies...

I already have a lot of once fired brass.

Thanks!

I can speak for WY.  Two ways

I can speak for WY.  Two ways to get points.  Apply for a tag with prefernce points, pay the full amount and don't get drawn. You will get your tag money back, the preference point money stays and you get a point. Or simply buy a preference point after the draw...think it is between July and September that you can do this.

Way cool. I am glad you got

Way cool. I am glad you got that hog and I look forward to pictures of it and the bullet.  I always am interested in the pictures of bullets recovered from animals.
