Nice smiles, and the gun is great too. I bought a little Henry single shot for my son when he was 6 as a bribe to stop sucking his thumb. It worked great and got him started shooting and learning how to safely handle a gun (loaded or not) at a young age. His younger sister has "inherited" the gun now.
Winter is tough on whitetails, that is an accepted fact.
You can help the quality of your herd by providing winter plots - that are not necessarily designed as kill plots.
