I went with the 300 wsm,I like the tight fit of the win. FTW I have shot the 300 win. before and it is comparible to the 300wsm.And even superior to the to the short mag if you hand load,I don't and this my only gripe is I can not get any 165 grn factory loads.But I know it will make a good elk rifle,and handy for deer.BBJ
