Lets see your Muledeer/Blacktail!

This Buck was harvested in 2004 by Kremmling, Colorado by my Nephew, Jeremy aka Bullfrog. It was his 1st Buck.

This Buck was harvested on the CO/WY border in 2001. It was 3rd Season and the rut was in full swing. I shot it way back in, on some BLM and thankfully my good friend Rick was there to help me haul it out. When we go back to the truck, the temp read -8F without the wind.

Thanks! BigRacks. I hope to get some really big bucks in the next few years. Colorado's deer are really coming back, finally! I am seeing bigger bucks then I've seen in 15 years.

Lets see your Muledeer/Blacktail!

Mule Deer, Mule Deer, Mule Deer. I love to hunt Mule Deer. I would rather shoot one Mule Deer than Fifteen Whitetails. I have been returning to these Pictures ever since they were posted back in May. I have two mule deer hunts scheduled in October. One in Wyoming (Region B) [Lusk area] and one in Colorado (Craig area). I can Hardly wait.
I am still looking to harvest the 30 Inch Plus deer. Seen a few, just can’t seem to be lucky enough to be at the right place and time for the shot. So far 28 Inches is the Max, and I’m not complaining. Even a 22-inch full mass buck is a trophy to me. I just love to hunt mule deer, and I love the High Dessert country that these boys live in. Now that I am retired my wife and I will spend the whole month of October just doing the one thing that we both enjoy; Elk and Mule deer hunting.
Thanks for the pictures guys>>> Big smile
