I never go to shannon domaine but I have checked the territory and this look good. I heard by some people and friend that they go a this place to relax and hunt moose. they said it's a very good place to hunt moose and bear.It's funny because the price look good.
I think this a good trip that you can do. If you willl hunt in Qc you will be impressionate by the composition of territory (food). You will can develope your expérience to hunt moose because we have big bulls but it's more difficult to get them out.

I have not yet booked a hunt in Quebec. I might not hunt in Canada for a few years, but I have started collecting information and the brochure that I received from Domaine Shannon made it look like a pretty good place to hunt and the prices seemed reasonable. If I decide to hunt in Quebec they might be who I call.
There are still some who insist a scope is not needed for the type hunting they do, ignoring the advances of the last 150 years in optical sights. (Even the ultra-conservative US Army has adopted optical sights.) The idea that in some special circumstances open iron sights or aperture (peep) sights might be more useful is not lost on me, but with the inevitable advance of age comes the reduction in visual acuity needed for using iron sights.
