im going to start building my own rifle. i have been looking at many difrent types of bolt actions, and im set on the lawton 8500 bolt action its going to hold a 408 chey-tac. any suggestions, pro's or con's or a difrent brand bolt maby. could use the imput before i drain my tax return.

I'd check in with Lawton before deciding on them. Barney Lawton died last spring and I don't know if the future of the company is secure or not.
