late season Colorado elk hunt in GMU 2,3, 10, 11,211,301?

We have a daughter that did not fill her elk tag for the second season, and we understand that it can be turned in and get a late season tag for a cow elk--how are the areas that I mentioned---GMU 2,3,10,11,301? She is a youth--she did get a nice muley in GMU 15--any chance there instead? We understand that the elk winter more in the northwest GMUs.

Well I dont know much about the units you mentioned but the biggest herd of elk is in the valley. with a confirmed 3,000 head on the west side of the sangre's and another 3,000 in the rio national forest. and last winter is when they confirmed these elk. so I dont know if that helps!
