Laser Range finder Problem

Hey Guy's I have a Bushnell 1500 laser range finder and I can't seem to get readings past 220 yds! I have tried at all times during the day and no luck! It use to give me readings out to 1150 at certain times of the day but no longer. My worry is is that I somehow knocked the laser of kilter. Has anyone had this problem? I will be sending it in for them to look at it, but I want to make sure I am not missing a easy solution. Thanks

Try changing the battery

Try changing the battery first to see if that eliminates the problem.

Also, clean the lens as directions indicate. Then compare it against a known rangefinder that you know is working.

If that don't do it, send it in or sell it and buy a new one.

Thanks

I keep trying new batteries in hopes one was bad or two were bad! No luck! I will try the lens cleaning and give it a shot! It has not been abused at all and looks brand new. I have never dropped it or taken a spill with it on or around my neck. I am always good for at least one good digger per trip ,but none have happened with the range finder. Thanks again.

Before you send it in contact

Before you send it in contact their customer service about the problem.  They may have a fix for you where you won't have to send it to them.
