Know what you are shooting T!

Went out for our morning walk and heard 1 shoot only to find a wounded Spike elk, to make a long story short i had to finish the poor guy. Went to find the warden to inform him of what happen, He was appreciative and very much wanted to catch the person that did this. Turns out it was a man from Wisconsin, the guy must have knew that he did wrong cause he checked out of his motel that night! It frustrates me cause these animals are owned by the people of Colorado and now this poor spike will not be able to grow into a animal that can be harvested legal.
So for all the hunters out there that dont know what is legal id suggest that you do some research before you get out in the field! Sorry all had to vent!

i agree, people need to know there target, i had a buddy a few years ago had a bullet fly by his head and hit a tree next to him cause someone was shooting at sound instead of sight. that stuff makes me mad.
