Knight & Hale EZ Grunter please help

I bought it last year and I dont know how to use it, u can exhale into it and inhale into it and both make grunting sounds so i dont know which is better and i want to practice b4 hunting season starts any suggestions would be great thanks

It is probably meant to be exhaled into. Or it may be used both ways whichever way sounds more natural to the deer in your area.

is there a specific sound i should be trying to make? are they long grunts short grunts ive never heard a deer grunt before this is my second year hunting

It's hard to explain, the few that I have heard were short,probably 3 seconds or less, deep chest grunts. Try studying hunts filmed in your region of the country or talk to someone at a local hunting store.

You were right in both exhaling and inhaling. Wal-mart put them out the other day. If you still have the paper card that was in the box it has tips on the back.

they both work inhaling and exhalingshould do it just try it out yourself then once you get a deer to come in you know your doing it right finding out yourself is the best way to learn.
