Knight Elite or T/C Omega?

I'm torn between purchasing the Knight Elite or a T/C Omega. This will be my first in-line and I would appreciate any helpful insight. Thanks!

I am not too familiar with Knight muzzleloaders, but I am familiar with Thompson/Center. Several of my friends and relatives use them (from Hawkens to Encores). Every one of them shoot very well compared to other brands of muzzleloaders I have shot. One particular instance that sold me on t/c was when my friend broke the stock on his gun (a well worn wood stocked hawken). He contacted t/c to see about buying a replacement stock for his gun. They had him send it back to them and they replaced every worn piece on the gun including the stock and refinished the barrel all free of charge. This level of a manufacturer standing behind thier product is almost unheard of. For this reason I will never buy a muzzleloader without the name Thompson/Center.

I have a Knight Disc and i love it, also a TC flintlock. I like both Knight & TC. Each have diffrent fetures. You cant go wrong on which ever you choose.

I took my first black powder deer with a Knight and it took her down in her tracks but she also rolled down a really steep hill 300 yards but i have seen people take Soda cans at 200 yards with them so my money is on Knight. Im not sayin tc isnt good i love them they are just as good what it comes down to is go to s gun shop sholder both of them see what one fits u teh best what finish think of every lil thing as picking out a gun is a hard choice to make from other peoples opinions
these are just my thoughts on the matter

It's a grate rifle a little pricey but with a life time warranty and it's made in the U.S.A. Out of the box my Omega with two 50gr. Pyrodex Pellets, a 250gr. Hornady SST and a Remington 209-4 primer. It will shot 1 1/2" groups all day. Just clean it after every shot with rubbjng alcohol, one wet patch one dry patch then reload. Have fun and good luck Oldsnow.

The 1 1/2" will be at 100yds. At 200yds. it will be a 4" group 12" below point of aim.

I have an Omega and it is one of my favorite guns I own. It is unbelieveably accurate, easy to clean, light, reliable, & has a great trigger setup. I love it and would recommend it to anybody for an In-Line.

I love my omega. Here in massachusetts you can use it during shotgun season but you can't during muzzleloader season because of the action. Make sure you check the laws about the weapons you use.

I wouldn't trust what a gunshop employee told me. I would carefully read the regulations. Were I going to ask someone about it, I would ask an employee of the Division of Wildlife (or whatever it's called in your state) and get their answer IN WRITING!
