Thank You

rerider,

Thank you for the reminder and link. I was just wondering yesterday while I was checking for turkey sign on my ranch. The tracks in the snow were easy to spot. I am hoping that a big tom or two is in the flock. I find scouting for deer and turkey to bring me pleasure year round.

Thumbs up
If it looks like you are not going to get a crack at one let me know. I got some hotspots that are holding 12 - 24 mature Toms!
GOOD LUCK!

Generous Invitation

rerider,

Thank you for the very kind offer. It sounds like you have some excellent turkey hunting spots. The flock of turkeys on my land is relatively small with about 15 birds in total. I will definitely keep your invitation in mind. Let’s stay in touch.

I wish I could get out and turkey hunt this spring, but it looks like my recovery time is going to take too long :( We'll see though.

Yes, January 12th. I'm not supposed to lift anything heavier than a phonebook for a month, and can't be in full swing for 3 months.

I like the new archery season. Gives me a good excuse to pick up the bow, and try arrowing my first "Archery" gobbler.
