Kalmiopsis Blacktail

Anyone been hunting or hiking in the Kalmiopsis Wilderness in the Chetco Unit? I am thinking about heading down there in the spring to scout out things for the early bowhunt.

I cannot believe amongst all the hunters here none of us have any experience in this unit. Well I know that just across the border in California the bucks can be monsters. With the lack of responses, I am hoping for an uncrowded hunt for monster. Now I just have to wait for the snows to melt so I can get eyes on a few.
