Im not trying to tell people how to think Im only giving my opinion. According to my calendar there is 7 days in a week if you cant get enough in 6 days I dont think that one more day is going to do it.I think even the animals and birds need a day break to regroup.JJ I have people tell me they work all week,HOW about this use a week of your holidays for hunting.then they tell me there holidays are for a hot vacation in the cold winter????????????????????NO I dont spend my sundays in church. I have hunted for over 30yrs. my 4boys count the days down till hunting season starts again.We hunt every thing that we can including wing and varmint,we hunt from sept. til dec. but we wont and dont hunt on sunday.YES im still married.In 2000 MY hole family spent the month of july at a friends place in between oxford and pugwash what a beautiful province totally stunning.At that tine they still had no sunday shopping AND they were holding a vote on it. I dont like stores open on sunday ether.  SUNDAY hunting wasnt implemented for the hunter SUNDAY shopping wasnt implemented for the shopper they are there for the $$$$$$$$$.

I guess you don't work in the road/building construction business then.  No (very few)holidays, no vacation time, and work from dawn to dusk six days a week.  I used to work in that industry and it does not allow a hunter anytime to hunt.  I hunted Christmas Day and Boxing Day in those years as it was the only hunting days I had off the whole season.  I hunted waterfowl those two days because deer season was long since over.  I am fortunate enough to have changed jobs to one that is much more hunter friendly but most do not have that opportunity.

Without knowing where you hang your hat at perhaps you need to take a ride to the local stores on the next holiday.  Most of them are open.  I retired from a company that either required you to work holidays or be on call for them.  So no hunting could be done.  As far as Sundays a person should be able to decide for himself if he wants to go hunting or not and not the state or providence.
