Good article.  People just

Good article.  People just don't get the impact that hunting, and fishing for that matter, have to the local economies.  We're seeing that all too often out here with the enviros shutting off huge tracts of water off the coast to fishing.  There are tons of sportfishing boats that make their living off of fishing for rockfish.  These guys are being put out of business.

Heck, all they gotta do is go into any BassPro or Cabelas, and see how packed they are at any time of the day.  It's amazing how much business they do.

You're absolutely right about

You're absolutely right about Cabela's.  I don't care when I go to the one in Kansas City, it is always busy.  And, it is filled with people who don't fit the stereotype of hunters.  You see individuals, couples and families from all segments of society in there buying hunting, fishing, shooting and camping stuff.  It is amazing.
