Sean

Sounds like you had a great trip! Congrats to your dad on the fine looking buck. I'm glad you had a great time and made it home safe. I was able to hunt for 2 of my 4 day weekend and for the fourth day I had to take care of my deer i got on day 2( see the NW section for pics and mini story).

Congrats to your dad!!  That is a trophy for sure.  Glad he is getting his first mount.  I am still waiting on mine.  Done some horn mounts, but not a true mount.  Still waiting for the right one.  Glad you had a great time and welcome back!!!

Well darn it - sorry as I am just now finding this.  I did look but definitely not in the right places.  I was really wondering how you did and when I saw your pics I kind of knew but still couldn't find your post.  I'm definitely sorry you didn't harvest a deer.  I really did think you were going to break that streak of yours.  I know it has been said and it is easy to say - the time with your Dad is priceless and something that can never be taken away.  But it sure would have been great to see your deer right there along side of his!  My Dad has started his Ohio deer gun season today with my younger brother.  I sure wish I was with them.  I'm calling each night to listen to the stories and that makes it okay - I guess.  Anyhow - welcome back and hope that darn streak of yours gets blown out of the air on your next hunt!  Thumbs up

Dad

Nothing like spending time with your dad.  My dad's health does not let him out to do much these days.  Tresure these times.  They dont last for ever.

Thanks!  He starts

Thanks!  He starts muzzleloader season Saturday.  Can get a buck and/or a doe.  Other than a spike, which is illegal, anything brown is going down for him.  Then I will get a shipment of jerky.... Yes
