Idaho unit 40 late info appreciated

I was drawn for the late Idaho unit 40 tag and I am looking for any information on where I should start my search for a wall hanger.I will only be able to scout for 3 days and hunt for 11so any information that will narrow my searh would be much appreciated.Would also like to know what size of deer I should hold out for.

40 is a hard area to hunt. It is dry, little water.
dry mesas south of silver city are good, there is scrub timber. look out for the private property boundry if you go up and south of new york summit.
