Yeah, 27 is a fabulous unit. The terrain is INCREDIBLY rugged. The wolves have cleaned the place out. But it seems that the deer and elk are recovering somewhat. If where you are hunting doesn't have any deer or elk (and wolf tracks and howling) ... you need to move as far as you can to a place where the wolves aren't, or at least aren't presently. Shoot your animal and come out - as the wolves will be there also in a few days.
