Off to Idaho!

Well after a short stay of 1.5 years in CO I'm heading back to Idaho for work. Still hope to come back and do some hunting in CO. I think I'll buy points every year for a while and get a better hunt then the general. I am very excited to get back to my roots and hunt more familiar country, at least to me. Maybe I'll have some photos to finally post on here next fall. :) Good luck everyone on drawing your dream tags this year.

God Speed

It is always nice to be back on familiar ground. I will hunt in Co but there is no way I would live there with all the 2nd amendment abolitionist's in Denver. Safe travels.

Just because there are a

Just because there are a bunch of dumbasses in the state government doesn't mean Colorado still isn't one of the best states in the country to live if you enjoy hunting.  Rather than avoiding or leaving our state we need to use our votes to make changes the politicians will understand--if you (as a politician) vote to limit our rights we will vote you out of office.

And good luck in Idaho Striker!  Maybe we'll cross paths in the woods sometime.

Striker - Best wishes on your move, I know the feeling of always being on the move and its good to put down some roots. Good luck on elk hunting up north. I've gone back and forth also about applying again in Colorado with the gun control, legalization of dope, and landowner tag increases. I still might have to continue to apply for unit 40 even though its still another 3-5 years from getting a late season bull tag as a non-resident.

Thanks

Thanks for all the well wishes guys. It was a crazy move with a lot of crazy weather through Wyoming. I'm excited to be here and learn some new country again. The hunting is mostly taken care of. I'm only 3 hours from my stomping grounds. Fishing on the other hand I have to look into.
