hunting in watcom, skagit and snohomish counties

second year trying to get anything in these, listed above counties, with no luck. I was going for bear, black tail deer, and now trying to find elk. According to other posts about poachers, I see that some people get a lot(even without a license) when I can't get anything. Any advice wold be appreciated.

with time and effort you will find animal's to hunt. You cant expect to be hand fed the hot spot's. Your best bet is to do your homework and scouting well before the season starts to ensure your not waisting time in a unproductive area. I submitted an article to BigGameHunt about elk hunting scouting and tip's. If they post it read the article and you will get some tip's on scouting and pre season prep. There are alot of variables that go into a succesfull hunt. The more you know the better off you are. Good Luck!
