Hunting Washingtons East side

I am interested in trying an out of state hunt for Elk and was looking at the Eastern side of Washington. Either rifle or Muzzleloader. Anybody able to line me out as to a unit/hunt? I'd be willing to do the same for someone as to the eastern half of Oregon.

Having live in Washington for 56years I cannot understand why anyone would buy an outa state tag for here. Our wildlife is so mismanaged it hurts. Our forestland are managed for profit not for wildlife, deer and elk are just a byproduct that seem to be in the way! On the eastside elk is spike only except the far N.E. above Spokane. I go elk camping in unit 360,any units in around that area do have some elk in them. During the gen. season the hunters proably out number the elk 3to1. or better. That is the Yakima herd. Cry

I have lived in Washington for 40+ years and I couldn't agree more fishseeker. The state of fish and game management in Washington is so badly broken it is not funny. WDFW is so messed up it is beyond belief.

I don't think we will ever see an open season again, The may increase the #of tags but to open it up would make for a very unsafe hunt. You would have God and everyone hunting there. I don't think even WDFW is that dumb but they hhave repeatedly surpized me with their stupity Brick Wall,)
