I was woundering if anyone out there had infomation on hunting on WMA's in tennessee. I looked at the DNR website but i just want to know if there any good. I like the idea of liberal bag limits and seeing deer im not into tropheys and stuff. I hunt with anything and i was just woundering if it was any good down there. thanks

Depends on what area
Depends on what area of the state you are in. LBL is not a WMA but is operated by the national parks system now. No rifle except quotas but they have archery season open until mid Jan. Total acres you can hunt in TN and KY is about 170,000+. Also check some of the public land thats offered by TVA, some good hunting and little pressure.
