Don't watch too many anymore.

I don't get a chance to watch too many anymore, but I loved Mossy Oak's Whistling Wings, and a show called Fall Flight by another producer I don't think either come on anymore.  Used to like Hunitng With Hank, but that's been off the air for a long time.  I also like Jim Zumbo's stuff and Jim Shockeys shows.  There's one that Boone & Crocket Club puts out too that I like.

I would like Duck Commander and Buck Commander, but those two shows seem a little bit like a hillbilly reality show with only a small amount of hunting included, seems to be more like a reality show about their lives and the business.  Those guys are kinda funny to watch though.  I like their sence of humor.

Hunting shows

We used to have a real good cable channel with all kinds of great hunting I thought, but it went away some time ago. Not sure all the names of the shows, but they showed a lot of different types of hunting.

Not long ago another channel started to carry "VS" I believe it is at times, usually with that Ted Barta guy I think, but haven't seen much of it actually. It's not like I get much say in what we watch anymore either, she with the TV controler wins, ha ha. frown

I'm not sure what else is available, but we could pay more to get more channels that may include more(?), but you know... "cha-ching"... LOL.

what i hate is half the time

what i hate is half the time on the hunting channels, they are paid programing. i get home from work turn on the hunt channel and theres some chick tring to sell me proactive skin claering formula, or jimmy johnsons talking about extenz male inhancment. what dose that have to do with hunting at least put on a rerun of some guy shooting the same old whitetail over and over again. like right now on 608 the hunt channel montel is selling "life lock" this is rediculouse

Advertisements

The shows themselves are generally a big advertisemnt infomercial for various hunting products or brands and tend to be a lot less about hunting, but they work it in so that you think it's about hunting and it's really not.  No way, it all about advertising their sponsors products within the show.  That's what I loved about shows like Fall Flight and Whistling Wings.  To me those two shows were more about hunting and less about promoting products.
