Hunting in Iceland

For something truly different !
We are a small local hunting operation in Djupivogur, Iceland, a fishing village of 400 people surrounded by magnificent reindeer country.
Our goal is to provide our clients with an unforgettable hunting experience in the unspoiled Icelandic wilderness. We specialize in Reindeer hunting but can also offer Seals and seabirds, weather and season permitting.
We pride ourselves in pleasant surprises only, there will be no hidden costs.
For Reindeer the general hunting season is August 1st - September 15th. Early bull season starts July 15th. The annual quota is around 1300 animals and licenses are issued by drawing. In order to get your name into the application process you must supply us with a copy of your passport and your local hunting and gun license by February 1st. The demand for licenses is growing so we make no guarantees but offer our services for application free of charge.
