Try It

Seriously though, do you really consider that a "pistol"?????  It's twice as long as any pistol I know, and shoots more like a rifle.  To me, a "Pistol" is something you can hold in one hand to shoot, and I have never seen him do that.  Some of those have 15 inch barrels.  Always using shooting sticks.

Don't get me wrong, I love those guns, and Larry is one of my favorite hunting guys on TV, but I don't really consider that "pistol hunting".....

You need to try it, it is not as easy as it may look.

I can imagine. Doesn't seem like a chip shot in any way

The first time I tried to

The first time I tried to hunt with a pistol, I missed a doe at 25 yds-5 times from my Ruger Redhawk .44mag. 25 yds was all, I thought surely I could hit her at 25 yds. I couldn't hit the broad side of a deer. LOL

It takes more practice and continueing practice to stay efficient with a revolver. Don't do the same misstake I did. Go practice until you're efficient with your pistol before hunting with it.
