What is the best time of year for a hunting/fishing trade show? Which trade shows are your favorites and why? I'm talking vendors who sell at the shows, and also people who go to them.
Is the guest speaker really important? Would you travel just to see a speaker at a show?
I'm trying to gather info to start up a show. So any help would be appreciated. I love to hunt and fish and so does my family. That's just how we grew up. Alot of the kids where I live (in town now, yuck) have no one to show them how great the outdoors is. I see alot of the same ones just wandering the street, and they get in trouble when they are older. I was thinking a show where all the kids could try stuff out for free. Then invite organizations to come and sign up these kids and their families to get them plugged in somewhere, either boy scouts or 4-H or something like that. Any ideas?
