Can any one help

We produce a range of cartridge displays, mainly for the UK, European market under heading like Dangerous game, African Game, European game etc..

We currently wish to increase or range of displays, with an American range.

If you are able to help and have the time would it be possible to help me by listing rounds commonly used for White tail deer, Mule deer, Black tail, Elk, Black Bear, Brown Bear, Moose, Caribou, Big Cat, Predators and Small Game. We would be looking for about 8-9 of the common rounds.

I would like to thank you in anticipation

Kind regards

Fuzzybear pretty accurately listed the most common cartridges. I am a fan of calibers less frequently used. I'll try and list some of these, but certainly won't hit all the highlights. Most of these are cals I own are have shot, and a few more common left off of earlier posts.

More common not previously mentioned... 45/70 (or 45 government), 44 magnum, 45 long colt, 357 mag. 357 mag, 45 long, and 44 mag are also used as handgun cals (so is 45/70, but not frequently). They are also good for small game up to white tail (my opinion). The 45/70 is generally considered a big game rifle and should be on your list as it was the cal most oft used in the near extinction of the american bison.

medium bores less frequently used... 338 federal (new, but an older wildcat), 35 Whelen, 338-06, 358 win mag, 356, 348, 350 remington mag, 35 remington, 375 ruger, 378 weatherby.

big bores... 458 win is realy the only frequently used bog bore in the u.s., but some nuts like me use some others as well. 416 remington would probably be the next most commonly used amreican big bore (or 458 Lott). Also, 458 Lott, 450 Ackley, 444 marlin, 450 marlin, 460 weatherby, 405 winchester

That's all I've got off the top of my head, and I'm no expert on small bores (or anything for that matter), so you'll have to hit someone else up for the more exotic lists of smaller American cals.
