You may have to chance it else where on the field or make your own cover. If you are hunting from a tree stand you can use cut branches to hide you or sit on the opposite side of the tree. If it is possible go back off the field a little into the woods. 10-20 yds

What about using the wind,a decoy and a small ground-blind to your advantage?

That sounds like a pretty tough pickle alright. Think

1. Bait - if legal, attractant scents if not altthough its probably still to early for doe in heat to work - it might at least arouse their curiousity;

2. Calling/rattling - fawn in distress maybe?

3. Try making a series of ground blinds out of hay bales if you can get some. Or "non-typical" blinds such as farm equipment parked in the field (if its an agricultural area deer are accustomed to seeing them and don't regard them as a threat) - especially something big like a combine (thresher).

Good stuff Saskie!
Here are a few more things to think about.
The multiple blinds may keep the deer out of the field until it's darker unless you put them in place before season. I could be wrong on that one, but my best luck has been with understanding the wind and getting in place early. Try chalk or powder to test for the slightest of breeze. I can't say enough about the wind. Do all you can to arrive on the seen sent free. I don't even use attractors anymore for most hunts. You don't need a lot of blind to hide behind if your in the right place and patient, but this means really controlling your movement. If things appear undisturbed you stand a far better chance. I'm sure you know that deer are far better at smelling danger than seeing it, but srange things promote far more caution than curiosity in a mature deer.
In short my advice is :Get in early, stay small, out of sight and especially out of smell. Thumbs up

Just an off the wall way out there thought but maybe dig a hole (like a fox hole) in the ground and cover it with bushes.Then just move the bushes when you vome to hunt. Just make sure its not a hazard to other hunters.

i hunted the field today

Me and my two buddies hunted the field today, two of my budies went out of the field 20 or 30 yards but i stayed in the field in my same spot and they didn't see deer but i did, but wouldn't u know it the was out of bow range. After the hunt we drove out by the spot at dark and who would know it there they was. We was thinking about staying out of there to rifle season. So what would u do

When does rifle season begin in Kentucky? I guess I would want to be there, at least on opening day if you like what you see, but if the deer in Kentucky are anything like up here in Maine, they will probably keep to the brush more as the hunters hit the woods.Good hunting.

That might be a good idea. If you are not expecting things to change in your favor stay out until rifle. I would suggest finding a new spot on that property, preferably in the woods or find a new place to bow hunt.

either make a blind or the best xhoice is to take a pop up blind and put in the feild a week or so before you hunt. You can literally but it right in the middle of the field. IT will conceil your scent if you tape plstic wrap over the windows wjich you can shoot through. IT will also hide your movement. Good luck
