I love hunting with an airgun. I've taken a few rabbits with mine, a crow, and a cowbird. I shoot it pistol style with one hand because it's shorter than what I am used to.

Don't tell anybody but I shot the neighbors cat twice. The damn thing kept coming in my yard told the wife I was going to shot it she said "no don't shoot it ". Well I did any way and that *ucker jumped about 5' in the air ! Wife laughed her ass off she said shoot it again, so I did Now I have permission to shoot it again hasn't been back in a while

I picked up a chineese break barrel 1,000+ fps rifle 7 years ago for $80. Shot 2 crows from my bedroom window at about 40 yds open sights a month ago. Blew the top off of a rabbits head while hiking about a year ago (ate the rabbit too).

And from about 110 yards nailed a swimming coot on the first try out at the river last weekend. I honestly didn't think I could do it and that's why I tried - but there were two witnesses that goaded me on the whole time, and couldn't beleive it either. Actually shot better than my .22 shorts and darn near equal to my .22 long rifle (but of course with a lighter weight projectile).

I bought a nice crack a few years ago kids love it but i wouldnt use it for anything i like my shotguns for grouse but i have killed a rabbit with one pellet .177 cal also right in the eye.

Biggest animal I killed with an airgun was a ram that weighed about 125lbs or so I'm guessing. Pellet went right thru the heart/lung and out the other side. Man that ram tasted good!

I have been trying to figure out what this has to do with upland birds and can't. It has been mived to anything goes.

what about the "gamo" air gun, it shots a shot patteren that they say is good enough to shoot quail with. An airshotgun, wonder how well they really work?

Popped a couple Robins at 30 yards with my brothers pellet gun when we were kids. That's about it.
